Our Pastor
Pastor Jeff Smith is a graduate of Bob Jones University and Luther Rice Seminary. He has been the pastor of Gospel Baptist since July 1992. He and his wife Dianne, have been married for over 20 years and have three daughters.
Deacons
The office of Deacon is set forth in I Timothy, Chapter 3 and Acts 6:3. Deacons are responsible for the administrative and business work of the church and to assist the Pastor in his duties. They promote the spiritual welfare of the church such as provided in Acts 6:1-4, through calling and discipleship programs. They serve the members of the church, comprise committees and periodically update the membership rolls. They also interview prospective members and serve as the Board of Directors for all local, state and federal filings.
