Sunday Morning Children's Church

Most of us have probably heard about the child who was acting up in the morning worship service. The parents of this child did the best they could to maintain a sense of order in the pew, but it was becoming very obvious that they were losing the battle. Finally, the father picked up the young boy and walked sternly up the aisle on his way out. Just before reaching the safety of the foyer, the little one called loudly to the congregation, “Pray for me! Pray for me!”

That story makes us laugh, but we all realize it can be true. Children often get bored, are easily entertained by other things, or often get fidgety in the main service with all these “big” adults and a preacher who talks in “big” & “fancy” words they don’t understand.

With this in mind, Gospel Baptist Church has special services for children to be a part of. This service is designed for children ages 4 to 8. It is patterned similarly after a Sunday School class with songs, Bible stories & personal interaction with others, but is formatted in such a way to meet the needs of these kids at their particular age levels.

If you are considering attending a service at Gospel Baptist Church, do not let your children hold you back. Become a part of the uplifting and helpful services that GBC offers. You will be amazed at what you all will have learned in that short amount of time and you’ll find your discussion of the services to be of value for the whole family.
